Master’s Programmes

The Faculty prepares high-qualified professionals (Masters) in the following areas:

121 Software Engineering

  • Software Engineering:
    The graduate will have the ability to conduct research on software development; identify, classify and describe project tasks, find rational methods and approaches to their solution.
    Ability to investigate software design problems; develop and implement new competitive ideas in software engineering.
    Ability to assess the level of validity of the application of specifications, standards, rules and recommendations in the professional field and adhere to them in the implementation of software life cycle processes.

122 Computer Science

  • Artificial Intelligence Technologies:
    Graduates will be able to solve complex problems and problems in the field of computer science, which involves research with elements of scientific novelty in the field of IT, innovation and is characterized by uncertainty; ability to analyze large arrays of information to make informed management decisions; develop and apply models, methods and tools for the study of artificial intelligence systems; formulate, solve and generalize practical problems of artificial and computational intelligence.
  • Management Information Systems:
    Graduates will be able to solve complex specialized tasks and practical problems in the field of computer science and information technology or in the learning process, which involves the application of theories and methods of computer science (mathematical models, methods and algorithms for solving theoretical and applied problems of ICT; modern technologies and programming platforms, methods of collecting, analyzing and consolidating distributed information, technologies and methods of design, development and quality assurance of ICT components, methods of computer graphics and data visualization technologies, knowledge engineering technologies, etc.) and is characterized by complexity and uncertainty.
  • Project Management:
    Graduates will be able to solve complex specialized tasks and practical problems of project management related to the search and recruitment of personnel, formation and management of project teams, the use of modern information technology to manage time, resources, cost and quality of projects in the absence of information, ability to analyze and choose basic and flexible project management methodologies, etc.
  • Information analytics and influences:
    Graduates will be able to apply analytical and critical thinking skills to solve problems in the field of information systems and technologies, including in the conditions of insufficient information, ability to process analytical materials for making informed decisions, ability to understand features of intellectual business modelling and their connection with basic knowledge and theories, to make a choice of cognitive models and methods of information visualization and to counteract information influences.

125 Cyber Security

  • Cyber Security:
    Graduates will have the ability to solve scientific problems in the field of cybersecurity, which involves the application of theories, models and methods of information security, information technology, research and is characterized by complexity and uncertainty of conditions, namely: development, implementation and maintenance of software and hardware information security and/or cybersecurity in information and communication systems and in the infrastructure of the organization as a whole; ensuring and monitoring the effective functioning of the information security management system and others.

126 Information systems and technologies

  • Software technologies of the Internet of Things:
    Graduates will have competence in a broader field of technology and activity than a bachelor, with a high level of knowledge and skills in engineering design, theoretical and practical research, development and design of modern IoT automated control systems, IoT network design and management, creating methods and tools for modelling IoT with digital methods of signal processing, programming of means of automation of measurements, development of methods of control and diagnostics of a condition of objects, design and programming of microprocessor devices, control schemes, converters of forms of information of signals.
